Following the original spirit of her clinic, our veterinarian Dr. Leese created the pet adoption center Julia's Jungle to help animals in jeopardy of euthanasia at the local shelters. Mountain Empire Veterinary Services & Julia's Jungle is a safe space for rescued animals to stay as long as they need until permanent loving homes are found. Adoptions And Fees

Julia's Jungle has a strict no-kill policy; we will keep the animal until it is adopted. All dogs/puppies are de-wormed and cats/kittens are tested for leukemia. An adoption feeaids in saving animals and defraying costs while animals are at the shelter. All animals are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations, and micro-chipped before going to their new homes.
